Facts
Lisa Williams underwent a root canal procedure performed by Barry Lasko, DDS. Williams claimed to suffer from painful black gum tissue following the procedure. She went to another dentist, Gary Gosalind, who extracted the tooth and grafted the socket with bone. Gosalind noted that the bone was heavily stained with black stain. Williams then underwent removal of her other teeth and sustained a sinus injury as a result of Lasko's procedure. Williams sued Lasko for negligence.
Damages
Williams sought general and special damages as well as attorney fees.
Result
The jury found that Lasko was not negligent and judgment was entered in his favor.
