Facts

Plaintiff Rose Pahl was boarding a Tahoe Area Regional Transit bus when allegedly the driver, without warning, closed the bus door, striking her. Plaintiff alleged that, as she was attempting to pay her fare, the driver abruptly moved the bus, causing her to fall. She claimed to have suffered injuries as a result thereof. Pahl sued the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County, and several other agencies as well as the driver for negligence.

Injuries

Pahl claimed injuries to her knee, neck, wrist, elbow, shoulder, and neck due to the fall.

Result

The jury rendered a defense verdict.
