Quinlan Construction built a model work-loft condominium building at 1000 Pennsylvania Avenue off of the 280 Freeway in the neighborhood where Portrero Hill and Dogpatch converge. The 1000 Pennsylvania Avenue Homeowners Association filed suit to recoup damages for several alleged construction defects.

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff alleged construction defects, including water intrusion through the roofs, windows, decks, and doors, as well as leaks in the garage walls themselves.
Result
The parties reached a settlement for $1.5 million, which included over $95,000 per unit.
