The court granted an injunction, enjoining Akhavan from using the names "Independence Energy" and "Independence Energy Alliance" in any matter whatsoever, including the solicitation of potential energy customers. Akhavan was also enjoined from holding himself out as the marketing arm of Independence Energy Group.
