Plaintiff claimed that the bus operator violated numerous vehicle codes.
DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS:
Defendants denied liability, and claimed that Plaintiff was negligently outside of the marked crosswalk, highly intoxicated, and was the sole cause of the collision and his injuries.

Defendants offered $50,000 at the mandatory settlement conference.
Result
A few days prior to trial, the parties attended private mediation where the case was settled for $1.2 million.
