Plaintiff Lydia Lopez sued defendants Ean Holdings LLC, Robert Hauck, and Cesar Rosales, following a two vehicle collision that occurred June 18, 2013 on Interstate-605 near the near the intersection of Ramona Blvd., in Los Angeles. Ean Holdings LLC was ultimately dismissed from the case.
Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff, who was a passenger in Rosales' vehicle, contended that Rosales and the driver of the other vehicle, Hauck, negligently operated their vehicles.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Hauck contended that he was not negligent and that Rosales was responsible for the accident because Rosales made an unsafe lane change while attempting to merge into Hauck's lane, causing Hauck to collide into Rosales' vehicle.
Result
Plaintiff settled with Hauck for $18,000.
