Plaintiff contended that defendant copies its patented design for tire repair kits that function by pumping sealant into flat tires.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant denied plaintiff's allegations and asserted that a 1985 patent for a tire inflation system should have been considered prior art when plaintiff applied for its patent.

The jury returned a verdict for plaintiff, awarding it $2.8 million in damages.
