Facts

The People of the City of Irwindale filed suit against Huy Fong Goods Inc., seeking to enjoin them from continuing to create certain conditions due to their operation of a chili sauce processing facility. Plaintiffs argued that the facility created a public nuisance due to the emanation of odors and it's irritations.

Result

The court granted a preliminary injunction in favor of plaintiffs.
