Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff, who owned U.S. Patent Nos. 7,904,337 and 8,341,020 both entitled Match Engine Marketing accused defendant of infringing on those patents by implementing advertising platforms that covered the subject patents. As such, plaintiff sued for patent infringement.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant denied the allegations and asserted various affirmative defenses. Defendant also moved for a judgment on the pleadings.

Result

The court granted Facebook's motion and entered judgment in its favor.
