Plaintiff contended that she tripped and fell over an inch-and-a-half elevated portion of the sidewalk, causing her to injure her knee. She claimed that defendant was negligent in allowing the dangerous condition to exist.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant contended that plaintiff was at fault for not paying attention to an open and obvious condition.
