Facts

Sonja Productions LLC agreed to finance Hannibal Pictures Inc.'s movie, "Fast Flash to Bank Time." Hannibal Pictures filed suit against Sonja Productions and Sonja Tremont Morgan alleging breach of contract and fraud.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Hannibal Pictures contended that defendants failed to satisfy their financial obligations and committed fraud in the negotiations and otherwise.

Damages

Plaintiff sought punitive damages, among others.

Result

The jury found in favor of plaintiffs and awarded $6,816,294 for the breach of contract and fraud claims. The jury also found that Morgan was personally liable, and awarded punitive damages in the amount of $250,000, making the total amount of the verdict $7,066,294.
