Facts

Anthony Freitas sued the city of Pleasant Hill and others alleging false arrest and other claims. Freitas was arrested based on suspicion of his involvement in a stabbing, which took place in a high school restroom in 2007. The police held Freitas over night due to information given by witnesses. Later, the police verified that Freitas had no involvement in the incident and released Freitas from custody.

Result

Defense verdict.
