Facts

The plaintiffs, owners of 14 homes in a Yucaipa development, sued builder Whisper Ranch, Ltd. and E. Wayne Simmons, Inc. to compensate them for hundreds of construction defects. The construction defects included among other things leaking windows and French doors, slope failures, and cracking stucco.
