On Oct. 13, 2006, plaintiff Miranda Baskharoon, a 38-year-old loan broker, was driving on Anton Boulevard and Sakiota Drive in Costa Mesa when defendant Nikta N. Shokooh made an illegal left turn in front of plaintiff. The accident basically destroyed the right front of the plaintiff's vehicle.
