PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant allegedly violated the FCRA for failing to have written policies and procedures regarding reported credit information and their accuracy. Defendant also allegedly failed to investigate disputed consumer credit information in violation of the FCRA.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant denied any wrongdoing.

Result

The parties agreed to settle the dispute, under which, Tricolor agreed to pay $82,777 in civil penalties.
