Ming Shu Jin and Yu Fen Jin sued Gaju Tofu & BBQ Corp., Broadland Investment Inc., Jerry Roan, and Irene Roan.

Contentions

PLAINTIFFS CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiffs alleged that they were servers at the Gaju Tofu & BBQ restaurant. Plaintiffs further alleged that from 2008 to 2012, based on the number of hours they worked, defendants essentially paid them a rate that was below minimum wage. Plaintiffs also contended that the defendants failed to provide them with required meal and rest breaks.

Result

On the seventh and final day of trial, the parties settled for $250,000.
