On Nov. 8, 2010, Anthony Chiu was stopped at traffic when Neetu Kulshreshtha hit him from behind. Chiu sued Kulshreshtha.
The matter was arbitrated, and Chiu was awarded $7,460. Kulshreshtha requested a trial de novo.

Chiu argued that Kulshreshtha had been driving negligently.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Kulshreshtha admitted liability, but disputed damages.

Chiu sought $6,700 in property damage for his car, and $3,950 in medical bills.
Injuries
Chiu suffered injuries to his neck and shoulder, which he treated with chiropractic care.
