On Oct. 19, 1995, plaintiff Kimberly Pigeon, a 38-year-old, presented at defendant Los Angeles County Harbor General UCLA Medical Center for left Achilles tendon repair. During the procedure, plaintiff suffered injury to her left knee resembling a burn. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence.
