Facts

The Unites States, Communities for a Better Environment, Center for Biological Diversity and Wild Equity Institute filed a lawsuit against Contra Costa Generating Station LLC and Radback Energy Inc. relating to the development, construction, permitting, sale and initial operation of the Oakley Generating Station.

Result

The parties agreed to settle the matter by establishing a Conservation and Mitigation Fund to be paid by defendants such that the total amount in the fund will be $2 million.
