Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff alleged that he was a passenger in the car being driven by his mother, which was traveling on Frontage Road through an intersection at 10th St. Plaintiff further alleged that Moronez was driving a tractor that was pulling a trailer. Plaintiff contended that although his mother had the right of way as they were driving through the intersection, Moronez made an illegal left turn from 10th St. onto Frontage Road and collided with plaintiff's car. Plaintiff alleged that the collision caused him a permanent disability.
Result
The parties settled the case and the court entered an order approving a compromise of the pending action, with the total amount of $2.5 million to be paid by defendants.
