Facts
Plaintiff Richard Michael Hughes, a patron at defendant The Flesh Club was attacked after leaving the bar.
Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff claimed that defendant negligently hired unfit bouncers and improperly ejected plaintiff in a high crime area making the attack foreseeable. Defendant should have called police instead of over serving him with alcohol and ejecting him.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant claimed that whatever defendant did that was improper did not cause plaintiff to be attacked in the parking lot. The bouncers properly ejected plaintiff and their alleged unfitness and lack of training was irrelevant since they did the right thing in ejecting plaintiff.
Result
Defense verdict.
