Facts

On April 19, 2004, plaintiff Frances Robinson, a teacher in her 50s, was driving a sedan and was broadsided in an intersection by defendant Yelena Stolyar who was also driving a sedan. Plaintiff sued defendant claiming she had a green light and that defendant ran the red light.

Defendant denied liability and contended she had the green light.
