Facts

Plaintiffs Kristofer, Laxeddy, and Kassandra Moradel and their parents lived on South Harvard Blvd. in Los Angeles. The plaintiffs contend that in February 2005, they gave defendants Lotus West Properties Inc. and Rosalya Zisman, the trustee of the Zisman and Stroe trusts, written and oral notice of habitability conditions that needed to be corrected. The plaintiffs claimed defendants failed to correct the habitability problems.

Injuries

The plaintiffs suffered from emotional distress.

Result

Plaintiffs received a total of $51,000. Plaintiff Kristofer received $17,000 including $6,800 in attorney fees and expenses of $1,778; plaintiff Laxeddy received $17,000 including the same attorney fees and expenses; and plaintiff Kassandra received $17,000 which included $8,578.
