The respondent owned and operated a "hot shop" for blowing glass, which she rented out.. The claimant was
working for one of renters and was burned by a gas blow torch which the claimant claimed was moved by the
respondent when she escorted an associates wife to the respondentÆs display gallery, adjacent to the Hot shop.

Settlement Discussions

The plaintiff made a settlement demand for $35,000, reuced to $15,000 prior to hearing. The defendant offered nothing.
