Claimants brought an action against Respondents related to a dividend reinvestment program trading system, alleging claims of negligence, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and common law and statutory fraud.

Damages

Claimants sought damages of $250,000, as well as punitive damages and attorney's fees.

Result

The claim as to respondent Debra Marcy Reda-Cappos was found to be false and was denied. After settling the case with Crowell, Weedon & Co., Claimants agreed not to oppose Reda-Cappos' expungement hearing. The expungement of all references in the records to respondent Debra Marcy Reda-Cappos was also recommended.
