Facts
Plaintiff Justin Paperny filed suit against Christine Kreps, Merrill Lynch, alleging that in May 2008, Merill Lynch froze his account and failed to notify him. He also filed suit against Damon Johnson, alleging that at the time, he told Johnson to sell the stock in his account, but the sale was never executed.
Paperny alleged that as a result of Merrill Lynch, Kreps, and Johnson's actions, he suffered damages.
Damages
Paperny requested $100,000 in damages.
Result
There were no findings of wrongdoing by Respondents, and all reference to the arbitration was expunged from Johnson's registration records.
