Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
The plaintiff contended that the defendant offered to pay him a bonus of $100,000 in exchange for his promise to continue working for an additional three months. The plaintiff accepted the offer and postponed his plans in reliance on defendant's offer, but defendant never paid plaintiff the $100,000 bonus.
Damages
The plaintiff sought $100,000.
