Facts

Angela Badami, Lennon Bronsema, Benjamin Capopiano, Kathryn Raven, and Audrey Ward filed a class action suit against Grassroots Campaigns Inc., claiming that the employer did not provide proper meal and rest breaks, minimum wage, and reimbursements of expenses. In particular, the plaintiffs alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1947, California Labor Code section 1194, section 226.7 and section 2802, the California Industrial Welfare Commission and California Business, as well as Professions Code section 17200.

Result

The parties reached a settlement amounting to $600,000.
