Facts
On June 9, 2004, at approximately 10:20 a.m., plaintiff Susan Y. Andre-Pettigrew, a 51-year-old branch manager of a cash advance loan company, while operating a Cadillac CTS was T-boned by a cattle hauling truck/trailer combination, which had run a red light. The accident occurred at State Route 43 and Houston Avenue in Kings County. The defendants did not dispute liability.
The plaintiffs contended that two years post accident, Susan Andre-Pettigrew continued to suffer from residuals from her accident-induced injuries, including constant wrist pain, with limitations of wrist and hand and diminished grip strength secondary to DeQuervain's syndrome/tenosynovitis, chronic, daily migraine headaches, constant neck and back pain, including her right hip and tail bone regions.
