Contentions
CLAIMANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Seidler alleged that in relation to his investments in the Behringer Harvard REIT, the ICON Leasing Fund Eleven, and an ING variable annuity, defendants committed securities fraud and negligence. Seidler further alleged that defendants committed breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty in relation to the investments.
RESPONDENTS' CONTENTIONS:
Respondents denied the allegations of Seidler's claims.
Damages
Seidler sought damages of $148,000.
Result
The parties settled the matter and Seidler filed a notice of dismissal. Thereafter, the FINRA arbitration panel recommended expungement of references to the arbitration from Michaels' registration records with the CRD.
