Nancy Fattlar sued Lucy Logan regarding Fattlar's investment in a joint venture.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Fattlar contended that Logan caused substantial harm to the joint venture and Fattlar, as investor in the joint venture, by unilaterally terminating the transfer of assets to the joint venture, without providing an explanation to the investors or employees of the joint venture. As such, she claimed that Logan violated her fiduciary obligations to the joint venture through her negligence and by conspiring with other parties to defraud investors and employees of the joint venture.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Logan contended that Fattlar lacked standing to bring her claims.

Result

The court entered judgment in favor of defendant.
