On Feb. 21, 2005, plaintiff Bunroth Chea, a 31-year-old accountant was involved in a motor accident. Plaintiff's 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse was clipped in the left rear side by defendant's vehicle, causing the Mitsubishi to collide head-on with the cement divider. The Mitsubishi was a total loss.

The defendant admitted liability but disputed the nature and extent of plaintiff's injuries.
