Published: Mar. 29, 2008 | Result Date: Jun. 5, 2007 | Filing Date: Jan. 1, 1900 |

Case number: CGC06455239 Bench Decision –  Defense

Court

San Francisco Superior

Attorneys

Plaintiff

Michael J. Raifsnider

Defendant

Andrew J. Wiegel

Facts

Plaintiff Tibor Szabo alleged he and defendant Chris Knoerdel agreed that plaintiff had a right for four years after Nov. 1, 2003 to re-purchase a restored 1965 Jaguar for $4,500, which was the same price plaintiff had sold it to defendant. Plaintiff alleged he transferred the vehicle to defendant for storage purposes until plaintiff reclaimed the vehicle.

Defendant claimed the vehicle had been purchased in poor condition and he would never have agreed to re-sell it for that price after full restoration.

Result

Bench decision for defense.
