PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Taylor brought suit on behalf of all current and former employees of Dress Barn, working as store managers or assistant managers. Taylor was hired by Dress Barn in 1996, and worked as an assistant manager. Dress Barn classified its managers as non-exempt employees, which entitled them to various rights. However, Taylor argued that Dress Barn failed to provide that which they were entitled to.

The parties settled for $400,000.
