The plaintiff, a 45-year-old forklift driver, was riding his bicycle on Ramona Avenue in El Monte at 5:45 a.m. He
was on the side of the street and riding in the lane closest to the curb.
He alleged that he fell off his bicycle when the SUV, driven by the defendant, struck his handlebar.
The defendants countersued for property damage and loss of use.
