Facts

The plaintiff, the driver of an 18-wheel gasoline tanker, was traveling north on Colorado I-25 when he stopped in the left lane on account of traffic ahead of his vehicle. He was struck by an SUV driven by the defendant Miyuki Roberts, and then struck again when a vehicle driven by the defendant Noel Vincent collided with the rear of the vehicle driven by Roberts, which then propelled the Roberts vehicle into the rear of the plaintiff's truck. As a result of these two impacts, the plaintiff claimed injuries.
