Facts

In July 2005, plaintiff Darian Edwards and his 10-year-old son leased an apartment in Canyon County. Gloria Moton lived with Edwards and his son. In December 2005, Edwards notified defendants of mold, water intrusion, offensive odors, and a falling ceiling. Edwards eventually filed a complaint against the apartment complex, its owners, and the managers.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Edwards argued that defendants delayed in sending a maintenance worker to inspect the complaints and was liable for denying anything was wrong with the apartment.

Injuries

Plaintiffs claimed mold-related injuries.

Result

The minor settled with defendants for $21,250.
