Facts

The Board of Trustees of the Northern California Tile Industry Welfare Trust Fund and others filed suit against All American Tile and Terrazzo, alleging that the All American failed to pay fringe benefit contributions for the months of June 2010 through September 2012 in a timely fashion. As a result, the plaintiffs claimed that fringe benefit contributions, liquidated damages, interest, attorney fees and costs were due to them.

Result

The parties settled for $14,000. If the defendants failed to pay that amount by a stipulated time, they would owe the full amount of $21,062.
