Facts
On April 19, 2002, the claimant, Chong Soon Choi, collided with an uninsured motorist on Washington Boulevard, near or at the intersection of Broadway in Los Angeles. The claimant was traveling eastbound on Washington Boulevard. The claimant stopped behind traffic ahead. The uninsured motorist failed to stop and collided with the rear of the claimant's vehicle. The claimant's property damage was $3,265. On May 5, 2002, the claimants, Chong Soon Choi, Yirae Choi and Kevin Choi were in another accident with an uninsured motorist. The accident was on Western Avenue in the city of Los Angeles. The claimants were traveling southbound on Western Avenue. The uninsured motorist was traveling northbound on Western Avenue and made an unsafe left turn colliding with the claimants' vehicle. The claimants property damage was $3,000.

Chong Soon Choi sustained injuries to the neck and back with attendant headaches. Yirae Choi and Kevin Choi demonstrated stomach discomfort for a few days.
Result
For the April 19, 2002 accident, the claimant Chong Soon Choi was awarded $15,905. For the May 5, 2002 accidents, the claimant Chong Soon Choi was awarded $6,037. Yirae Choi was awarded $300 and Kevin Choi was also awarded $300. The insurance company for both accidents was Farmers and the two cases were consolidated in one binding award.
