Facts

Plaintiff Edward Yoon sued defendants relating to the sale of real property located on West Florence Ave., in Los Angeles.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff contended that defendant wrongfully refused to consent to the release of $305,000 in relation to the environmental cleanup costs associated with the property.

He asserted causes of action for fraud (intentional misrepresentation), conversion, breach of contract, declaratory relief, and preliminary and permanent injunction.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant contended in its demurrer that plaintiff failed to provide factual allegations and sought to hold defendant liable for conduct that lacked substance and specificity. His conclusory allegations were plainly insufficient to meet the elements of the claims alleged.
