Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff developed "SpanCash," a platform that allowed users to store funds in prepaid cards that can be used in mobile banking, including being able to send money internationally. Defendant did business with plaintiff, and allegedly stole plaintiff's technology. Plaintiff sued alleging misappropriation of trade secrets, intentional and misrepresentation, and unfair competition.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendants denied the allegations and claimed that plaintiff was actually the one duping defendant. Defendant also claimed that the technology plaintiff claimed never worked.

Result

Ultimately, the jury decided in favor of Emirates.
