Defendant/Cross-Complainant Bannaoun alleged that it was a licensed contractor and was the contractor for the subject project (the Cerritos Ave. Widening Project), which was owned by the city. Plaintiff was allegedly the subcontractor for the contract. Cross-Defendants Jeff-Grand, Gothard, Cardinal, and the Trust were owners of the adjoining property. Bannaoun asserted causes of action for breach of contract and declaratory relief.
Result
KDC and Bannaoun agreed to settle their dispute for $65,000 plus $1,572 in attorney fees.
