On Jan. 1, 1995, plaintiffs Leonard and Dana Bard sold their business to defendant John E. Sweeney. The plaintiffs and defendants entered into an agreement whereby defendants would employ plaintiff for seven years. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation theories of recovery.
