Facts

Carlos Cadena and Noemi Cerrato filed a civil complaint against the City and County of San Francisco stemming from false arrest accusations. Starting about Nov. 16, 2009 through Feb. 8, 2010, the defendants arrested plaintiffs and detained them in order to assist defendants in a prosecution of a criminal matter. Plaintiffs claimed they were falsely arrested, detained, and falsely imprisoned against their wills and without their consent in violation of due process and equal protection rights.

Result

The parties agreed to a $95,000 settlement.
