PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff Sanchez was under the prenatal care of defendant Tang. She gave birth to Jayden Prudente on Dec. 23, 2012, but he died two days later. Plaintiffs alleged Jayden’s death was due to defendants’ negligence and sued defendants for medical malpractice.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Community Regional denied the allegations and asserted various affirmative defenses. Defendant moved for summary judgment, contending no triable issue of material facts regarding its employees’ alleged negligence.

The court granted Community Regional's motion for summary judgment.
