Facts
Plaintiff Adrienne Braden filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles Unified School District and two of its supervisors.
Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff claimed that the district and its supervisors made necessary personnel management decisions, hiring and job assignments, and followed District policies and practices at all times. Plaintiff''s claims lacked legal or factual support and could not survive summary judgment.
Plaintiff asserted causes of action for harassment, retaliation, disability and race discrimination, and failure of the district to engage in the interactive process.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: The district filed a motion for summary judgment on behalf of its supervisors, and a second motion for summary judgment for claims brought against the district.
Result
The court granted both motions filed by the district, and entered judgement against plaintiff and in favor of all defendants, on all causes of actions.
