Facts

Plaintiff Christina Lary filed suit against defendant Sarkis Kharadjian in relation to a car collision. Kharadjian was working for the Department of Public Health at the time of the collision.

Contentions

PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff claimed Kharadjian crossed over a double yellow line in the center of the road where the accident occurred. Plaintiff alleged that the DPH employee was negligent. Further, the plaintiffs contended that the County of Los Angeles was liable vicariously for its employee's negligence.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS: Defendants disputed the extent of plaintiff's injuries.

Injuries

The plaintiffs contended that injuries were suffered as a result of the collision.

Result

The parties settled for $44,000, which was recommended by the county.
