Plaintiff Lewis Air Services was hired to inspect and install new HVAC components in an apartment building. Plaintiff filed suit against the building contractor in relation to payment for services rendered.
Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff claimed that it entered into a agreement with defendants, who were general contractors. Plaintiff agreed to furnish certain labor, services, equipment, and materials for labor for removal and re-installation of HVAC units on the building parcel commonly known as the Lennox Apartments in Los Angeles. Plaintiff contended defendants refused to pay after it performed its work.
The agreed price and reasonable value of Lewis Air Services' work was $201,035, which was not paid. Plaintiff filed suit for breach of contract, common counts, foreclosure of Mechanic's Lien, and complaint on contractors bond.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied the allegations.
