Plaintiff Lonnie Moore filed suit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in relation to a vehicle collision that took place on Jan. 25, 2016.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended a deputy sheriff drove westbound on East Altadena drive, in a Ford Crown Victoria, when he rear-ended plaintiff. Plaintiff was driving a Mercedes Benz C240 and was stopped for traffic just east of the North Marengo Ave. intersection. Plaintiff contended as a result of the collision, he suffered from personal injuries and property damages.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied the contentions.

Result

The parties agreed to settle for $39,500.
