Claimant Michael Tusing filed for expungement of a FINRA arbitration case from his Central Registration Depository records against respondent, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc.

Contentions

CLAIMANT'S CONTENTIONS: Claimant sought expungement of an underlying arbitration case from his CRD records and argued that the claim was clearly erroneous and false. On July 30, 2019, claimant notified the customers of the underlying arbitration of the expungement.

RESPONDENT'S CONTENTIONS: Respondent denied claimant's allegations. Respondent did not object to claimant's expungement.

Result

The Arbitrator ruled that the claim was false and recommended expungement. In addition, claimant must confirm with a court of competent jurisdiction prior to the execution of the expungement.
